You order catfish it's about a 7-minute wait because they're going to batter and fry the fish on the spot. You order a deep fried pork chop it's going to be about 7 minute wait because they batter it and fry it on the spot. The service is always been good. In fact the vibe is so pleasant and I took my daughter she walked in and instantly had a huge smile on her face and said "daddy, this place makes me happy". So, I would highly recommend. If you want some good soul food this is the place to go in Corona. I'm there at least once a week. If I lived a little closer I'd probably be there all week ”

“ I firmly believe that the kitchen here receives its recipes and ingredients directly from heaven. I got the fried catfish dinner for 20, which I'll be honest, was a high price when I first saw it, but when I got the actual food... well the portion was enough to feed a village, so I'd say it was worth the money. Two whole catfish filets, lightly breaded and fried till just cooked and tender, no overcooked, dry fish here. I had it with the cornbread dressing, which I'd never had before, and let me tell you the experience was a unique journey through the rocky roads of flavor and texture that I didn't expect, but loved all the same. A perfect blend of salty, sweet, savory, aromatic and creamy that was at once sumptuous and light enough to keep eating despite the full flavor. I had collared greens and black eyed peas as the sides, they were a bit salty for me, but that's just a personal preference, what's important is that they were perfectly cooked, and done correctly. The beans were tender and the greens weren't braised to mush, which I see sometimes. Service was friendly and welcoming. The staff made an effort to be personable with every customer, despite the line going out the door, and that made the atmosphere quite nice to wait in. Overall, I'd say Sunday Dinners is quite the family treat. It's very unique for the Corona/Riverside area, where most Soul Food representation is at BBQ places or fast food chains. I look forward to coming back and working my way down every menu item! ”
